Who we are and your agreement

EveryTake (everytake.me) is a Brazilian-built collaborative photo album service for events. By creating an account, buying an event or using the service, you agree to these terms. We wrote them in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, just write to us and we'll explain.

The service

Every event on EveryTake becomes a collaborative album: guests scan a QR code, upload photos, complete missions and follow the ranking — no account needed. The person with the account is the host, and the host is responsible for the event: for what happens in the album, for who gets invited, and for how the service is used.

Guest content and acceptable use

Photos belong to the people who took them. By creating an event, the host confirms they have the right to collect their guests' photos in that album — it's their party, with people they invited. Not allowed: content that is illegal, abusive, exposes someone without their consent or infringes other people's rights. If that shows up, we may remove the content and, in case of violation, suspend the account.

Plans and payment

You can pay per event or subscribe to a plan. The price is always shown before you confirm a purchase — no checkout surprises. Payments are processed by Stripe, and taxes are included where the law requires it.

Refunds and cooling-off

Brazilian consumer law grants a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases: you can change your mind within 7 days and get your money back. On top of that, we have our own rule: if you didn't use it, we refund it. If your paid event received no photos, the refund is in full — even after the 7 days. The Pro subscription can be cancelled at any time through the billing portal; it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and simply doesn't renew after that. Important: when you request a refund or open a chargeback on an Event Pass or Pass+, access to the paid album is revoked — the event reverts to the Free plan and the full-album download is disabled. Abuse (such as downloading everything and then refunding) may lead to account suspension.

Retention and deletion

Each plan has a retention period — how long the album stays stored after the event. We let you know before it expires, so you can download what you want to keep. And deleting an event really deletes its photos and data, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep EveryTake running smoothly on your big day, but the service is provided as it is — we can't promise there will never be a hiccup or an outage. We're also not responsible for the content guests upload: the person who uploaded a photo, and the host of the event, answer for it. If we do cause you a loss, our liability is limited to the amount you paid EveryTake in the last 12 months. None of this takes away the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. For meaningful changes, we email you before they take effect.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. If a dispute comes up that we can't solve by talking, it will be handled by the Brazilian courts — and if you are a consumer, you may choose the courts of your own place of residence.
